She released her first single "Man of a Man" in 1978, followed by her biggest single ever - "Automatic Lover" (also 1978) which became a worldwide hit, reaching #4 on the british charts for more than 8 weeks, #1 in Brazil, Argentina, Italy, France, Spain, Turkey, Germany, Japan ...
In mid 1978, she released her first album "Cosmic Curves", followed by a second album "Thunder & Lightning" at the end of 1980, but other singles failed to get the same chart success as "Automatic Lover". The late 80s saw remixes of "Automatic Lover". Dee D married and had a son and now lives in Turin, Italy, reportedly running a record label D.D.E (Divine Dance Experience), where she produces Hip Hop, Garage and Trance artists...
