Tam-Tam

By 1983, Amanda's relationship to Ariola was no longer very good, and unfortunately that meant that Ariola made no effort whatsoever to promote the final album Amanda delivered to fulfill her contract. And what a shame that is - following the Hi-NRG sound she'd adopted on the non-album-single "Love Your Body" / "Darkness And Light", Tam Tam - produced by Roberto Cacciapaglia - is in fact a very enjoyable Italo-Disco album with very catchy songs. While Ariola (Germany) didn't even bother to release a single, Ariola (Italy) released the tracks "No Regrets" and "Bewitched" to support the album. In fact, nearly all the tracks - dealing with witch magic (Amanda looks fabulous like a tribal witch queen) - could have been singles. The album is absolutely recommended!
